Free tools are free — no refund applies. For paid tools, you have 7 days to request a refund if the tool is non-functional or not as described. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method.
1. Scope
This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made on the TS Black AI Tools Store at https://tsblack.in from T S Black Corporate Consultants Private Limited ("TS Black", "we", "us"). It is governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 notified under it. This Policy forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service.
Note. At the date of publication, paid tools are being prepared for launch and no live checkout is offered. This Policy will govern all paid transactions from the moment any paid tool is made commercially available.
2. Free tools
Tools marked "Free" on the catalog can be used without charge. No payment is collected and accordingly no refund is applicable. We reserve the right to introduce premium upgrades for any tool with appropriate notice.
3. One-time paid tools
For tools sold as a one-time purchase (for example, a downloadable utility or a single-use processing credit) you may request a full refund within seven (7) days of the date of purchase if:
the tool is materially non-functional;
the tool does not substantially match the description on its product page;
you have been billed in error or charged twice for the same transaction.
Refunds will not be issued where you have already received the substantive benefit of the tool (for example, the output PDF, Excel file or processed result has been delivered to you and used).
4. Subscriptions
For tools sold on a recurring subscription (monthly, quarterly or annual):
New subscriptions: A full refund is available within seven (7) days of the first payment, provided the tool has not been used to materially complete a billable workflow (for example, generating a finalised MIS report).
Renewals: Renewal charges are non-refundable. To prevent a renewal, cancel at least 48 hours before the renewal date (see Clause 5).
Mid-period cancellation: You may cancel at any time; you retain access to the tool until the end of the current paid period. Pro-rata refunds are not provided.
5. How to cancel
Cancel a subscription by:
signing in to your TS Black account, opening the relevant tool's subscription page, and clicking "Cancel subscription"; or
emailing [email protected] from the email associated with the subscription, stating the tool name and order reference.
Cancellation is effective from the date we receive your request; an acknowledgement will be sent within 24 hours.
the order reference / payment-gateway transaction ID;
the name of the tool;
the reason for the refund request, with supporting details (screenshots, error messages) where relevant.
We will acknowledge the request within 24 hours and respond with a decision within 5 business days. If approved, the refund will be issued within the timeline set out in Clause 7.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. Where the original method is no longer available (for example, a closed card), we may issue the refund by NEFT/IMPS to a bank account in your name on receipt of a cancelled cheque or bank-verification document.
8. Exceptions & limitations
The following are not eligible for refund:
Purchases made more than 7 days before the refund request;
Subscriptions where the substantive output has been generated and downloaded;
Disputes arising from the user's failure to read the tool's product description;
Issues caused by user equipment, browsers, network or third-party data sources beyond our reasonable control;
Tools that have been used to violate our Acceptable Use terms;
Customised consulting, professional services or one-on-one engagements (governed by separate engagement letters).
9. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer or bank. We aim to resolve issues directly and faster than a chargeback process. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending investigation, in accordance with our Terms of Service.
10. Disputes
If you are not satisfied with our response to your refund request, you may:
file a complaint on the Government of India's National Consumer Helpline (consumerhelpline.gov.in) or with the appropriate Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
